Park models, RVs, and some of the hottest air in Arizona.

Topock is small, low, and brutally hot. A lot of what we service here is not a house in the usual sense — park models, RV setups, and seasonal properties that sit empty through the worst of the summer.

Emergency service, Mon–Sat

Small units, extreme conditions, and long empty stretches.

Park model and RV air conditioners are built to a size and weight budget, which means they have very little margin when the outdoor temperature climbs past their rating. In Topock it climbs well past it. A unit that seems fine in April can simply stop keeping up in July without anything actually being broken.

The bigger issue is what happens while nobody is here. A system that sat closed up from May through October comes back to a packed coil, a dried-out condensate trap, and occasionally a rodent nest in the cabinet. Turning it on cold and hoping is how a $200 service call becomes a $2,000 one.

If you are seasonal, book a startup check for the week before you arrive. It is the cheapest insurance in this whole trade.

Do not switch it on and hope after six months closed up. Ten minutes of checking beats a compressor.

Seasonal advice, Topock

What Topock calls us for

Before you arrive

Seasonal Startup Check

Coil clean, condensate clear, refrigerant verified, full function test — so the first day of your season is not a service call.

Coil cleaned, condensate trap primed, refrigerant verified, cabinet checked for rodent damage, and a full run cycle before you arrive rather than after.

Before you leave

Shutdown Service

Cleaned, sealed, and set so the system is not sitting open to dust and wildlife for six months.

Cleaned, sealed against dust and wildlife, and left in a state that survives six months of nobody watching it.

AC Not Keeping Up

Small units past their rated conditions. We measure what it is actually delivering before anyone talks about replacement.

We measure superheat and subcooling, check static pressure across the coil, and read the temperature split at the register. Those three numbers tell us whether it is charge, airflow, or capacity — and they are three very different bills.

Evaporative & Swamp Coolers

Service, repair, and full replacement across Topock. Pads, pumps, float valves, motors, and belts — and straight advice on when a cooler still beats refrigerated air.

Seasonal start-up and shutdown, pad and pump replacement, float and water-line repair, motor and bearing work, and complete unit replacement on roof-mount and side-draft installations, including manufactured homes. When monsoon humidity has a cooler no longer keeping up, we will quote a refrigerated conversion alongside the repair so you can compare both numbers.

Straight pricing, before we start

A residential diagnostic visit is $178 — that covers the $99 dispatch fee and the $79 diagnostic, and the diagnostic comes off your bill when you approve the repair. Commercial diagnostics are $155 with a one-hour minimum. You get the number before anyone opens a panel. We install Trane, quoted in three tiers side by side.

Topock questions we get asked

Do you service evaporative (swamp) coolers in Topock?
Yes — we service, repair, and install them. Pads, pumps, floats, motors, belts, and water lines, plus complete replacements on roof-mount and side-draft units and on manufactured homes. If yours has stopped keeping up in monsoon humidity, we will price a refrigerated conversion next to the repair so you can decide with both numbers in front of you.
I only use my place part of the year. What should I do?
Book a startup check the week before you arrive and a shutdown before you leave. Systems that sit unused in this climate come back dirty, dry, and sometimes occupied by wildlife. Starting one cold is how small problems become expensive ones.
Do you work on park model and RV air conditioners?
Yes. They are common in Topock and Golden Shores and they behave differently from house systems — less capacity margin, different service points.
How far out is Topock for you?
It is on our regular Mohave County rotation from Kingman. Call (928) 565-6440 and we will give you an honest window.
What does a service call cost?
A residential diagnostic visit is $178, which covers the $99 dispatch fee and the $79 diagnostic. The $79 portion comes off your bill when you approve the repair. Commercial diagnostics are $155 with a one-hour minimum.
