Home/ Service Area/ Meadview

Mohave County · Most Remote

The farthest we go, and we still go.

Meadview is remote by any measure — out past Dolan Springs toward Lake Mead and Grand Canyon West. Very few HVAC companies service it at all. We schedule it deliberately rather than pretending it is a same-day drive.

Emergency service, Mon–Sat

We would rather schedule you properly than over-promise.

Meadview is a long way from Kingman, and we are not going to tell you otherwise. What we will do is give you a real window when you call and keep it. Most Meadview work we schedule in advance, and when we are already headed that direction we will try to fit you in the same trip.

Because a service call out here takes a serious chunk of a day, maintenance pays off more than almost anywhere. Catching a weak capacitor on a planned visit is a very different experience from losing cooling in July and waiting for a truck to be free.

Systems here face wide swings — hot days, genuinely cold nights, and a lot of properties that sit unoccupied for long stretches. That combination is hard on equipment that nobody is watching.

We will not tell you we are twenty minutes out when we are two hours out. You deserve to plan your day.

How we schedule, Meadview

What Meadview calls us for

Planned visits

Scheduled Maintenance

The single best move for a remote property. Catch the small failures on a planned trip instead of an emergency one.

Planned visits on a schedule that suits a remote property, with a written condition report each time. The economics of catching a failing part early are better the farther out you are.

Seasonal properties

Startup & Shutdown Service

Checked and sealed before you leave, tested and cleaned before you return.

Shutdown: cleaned, sealed against dust and wildlife, set for the months nobody is watching. Startup: coil cleaned, condensate trap primed, refrigerant verified, full run cycle before you arrive.

Both directions

Heating & Cooling Repair

Hot days and freezing nights mean both sides of the system have to work. We service both on the same visit.

Both sides of the system checked on the same visit — because up here you need heat in January and cooling in July, and a single trip should cover both.

Desert classic

Evaporative & Swamp Coolers

Service, repair, and full replacement across Meadview. Pads, pumps, float valves, motors, and belts — and straight advice on when a cooler still beats refrigerated air.

Seasonal start-up and shutdown, pad and pump replacement, float and water-line repair, motor and bearing work, and complete unit replacement on roof-mount and side-draft installations, including manufactured homes. When monsoon humidity has a cooler no longer keeping up, we will quote a refrigerated conversion alongside the repair so you can compare both numbers.

Detached buildings

Mini-Splits

Practical answer for shops, guest quarters, and rooms the original system never reached.

Single-zone through multi-zone. We size per room rather than per building, run the line set where it will not be an eyesore, and set it up so the detached space is genuinely comfortable rather than just conditioned.

Straight pricing, before we start

A residential diagnostic visit is $178 — that covers the $99 dispatch fee and the $79 diagnostic, and the diagnostic comes off your bill when you approve the repair. Commercial diagnostics are $155 with a one-hour minimum. You get the number before anyone opens a panel. We install Trane, quoted in three tiers side by side.

Meadview questions we get asked

Do you service evaporative (swamp) coolers in Meadview?
Yes — we service, repair, and install them. Pads, pumps, floats, motors, belts, and water lines, plus complete replacements on roof-mount and side-draft units and on manufactured homes. If yours has stopped keeping up in monsoon humidity, we will price a refrigerated conversion next to the repair so you can decide with both numbers in front of you.
Do you really service Meadview?
Yes. It is the farthest point in our service area and we schedule it deliberately rather than promising same-day. Call (928) 565-6440 and we will tell you honestly when we can be there.
Is it worth paying for maintenance this far out?
More than anywhere else we work. A planned visit that catches a failing part costs far less — in money and in waiting — than an emergency call to a remote property in July.
My place sits empty most of the year. What should I do?
Book a shutdown before you leave and a startup before you return. Unoccupied systems in this climate collect dust, dry out their traps, and sometimes attract wildlife.
What does a service call cost?
A residential diagnostic visit is $178, which covers the $99 dispatch fee and the $79 diagnostic. The $79 portion comes off your bill when you approve the repair. Commercial diagnostics are $155 with a one-hour minimum.
