What we handle
AC Repair
Not cooling, short cycling, tripping the breaker, or water on the floor. We diagnose it and show you the reading before we touch anything.
Capacitors and contactors, condenser fan motors, compressors, refrigerant leaks found with a real leak search rather than a top-off, blower motors, control boards, and thermostats. We measure superheat, subcooling, and static pressure and show you the numbers.
AC & Heat Pump Replacement
Sized on a Manual J load calculation for your house — not by matching the tonnage of whatever is out there now.
Right-sizing matters twice: an oversized system costs more up front and then short-cycles every month after, which means worse humidity control and a shorter life. We quote three Trane tiers side by side, with the efficiency and staging differences spelled out.
Heating & Furnace Service
Furnaces, heat pumps, and auxiliary heat — including the altitude derate that gas equipment needs above about 4,000 feet.
Igniters, flame sensors, heat exchangers, gas valves, reversing valves, and defrost boards. Higher-elevation homes get the manufacturer's derate checked, because it is skipped often enough that we look for it every time.
Mini-Splits & Ductless
The right answer for a converted garage, a guest house, a casita, or a room the original ductwork never reached.
Single-zone through multi-zone, with line-set routing planned so it does not look like an afterthought on the side of your house. Heats and cools, no duct run required.
Ductwork & Airflow
In a hot attic or under a manufactured home, sealing the ducts is often cheaper than a new system and fixes the whole complaint.
We test static pressure to find restriction, inspect accessible runs for disconnects and crush points, and seal at the joints where most leakage happens. It is unglamorous and it is frequently the best money you will spend.
Preventative Maintenance
The visit that keeps you off the emergency list in August. Coil cleaning, refrigerant check, electrical, drain line, and a written condition report.
Cooling before summer, heating before the first hard freeze. Desert dust and hard water are the two things that shorten equipment life here, and both are maintenance problems rather than repair problems.
