Air-Exx is owned and operated by Ryan Kanzler, an Army veteran. That is on the truck and on the website because it is true, but it matters mainly in how the work gets done: show up when you said you would, do the job to standard, and tell people the truth about what you found.

We started serving Mohave County in 2023 out of a shop on Hualapai Mountain Road in Kingman, and we still run out of that shop today. We are not a franchise, not a private-equity roll-up, and not routing trucks up from Phoenix. When you call, you are calling a company whose people live in the county they serve.

What we actually promise

You get the number before we start. A residential diagnostic visit is $178 and you know that on the phone. No trip-charge surprises, no “we'll see when we get there.”

You see the reading. If we tell you a part is failing or a system is undersized, we show you the measurement or the load calculation that says so. A quote you cannot check is a quote you should not accept — from us or from anybody.

We will tell you not to buy something. If your system is worth repairing, we repair it. Plenty of our work is a two-hundred-dollar fix on a system somebody else told the customer to replace. We would rather have you for fifteen years than for one oversized invoice.

We answer. Around the clock Monday through Saturday. After hours a live answering service picks up — real people, never a recording — and gets our on-call technician moving. We are closed Sundays, genuinely and completely.

Credentials, in plain terms

Arizona ROC license 350424, classification CR-39 — that is the state classification for air conditioning and refrigeration work. We are bonded and insured. We are BBB accredited with an A rating. We install Trane equipment. Every one of those is checkable, and you should check them on any contractor you let into your house.

Where we work

Fourteen cities across Mohave and Yavapai counties, from Meadview in the north to Lake Havasu in the south and east into the Prescott area. Some of those towns are a real drive from Kingman and we will be honest with you about the window rather than guess.
